Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights) | Holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting with Level 3 acuity
- Monitor and assess antepartum and postpartum patients throughout the continuum of care
- Perform and interpret electronic fetal monitoring and telemetry monitoring
- May float to the antepartum unit as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality maternal and neonatal outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN License
- CPR Certification (current)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
- Proficiency with Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Strong Level 3 Labor and Delivery experience, including antepartum and postpartum care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Telemetry monitoring experience
- Prior experience floating to antepartum units
