Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Care for adult patients in a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma facility
- Cover pediatric patients as needed
- Fulfill every other weekend coverage requirement
- Float to other units as required
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical RN experience
- Active Oklahoma RN license or valid compact state license
- Current BLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Must not have a blocked schedule; every other weekend coverage is required
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Telemetry experience
- ACLS and CPI certifications
- Experience with feeding tube care and management, IV therapy, and phlebotomy
- Meditech charting experience
