Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Step-Down

Contract | Nights (3x12, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide intermediate care and step-down level nursing for higher-acuity patients, including complex cardiac and respiratory cases
- Manage and titrate critical care drips and infusions
- Care for tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4 in an intermediate care setting
- Document accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Float to other units or nearby affiliate facilities as needed based on skill set and census demands
Required Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license (may submit with license pending)
- Minimum 1 year of IMCU or step-down RN experience (telemetry-only experience does not meet this requirement)
- Proficiency with Epic charting
- Must have a personal vehicle available for this assignment
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (travel compliance radius rule applies)
- Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an IMCU or step-down setting
- Experience floating across multiple units or facility types within a health system
- Background working in a short-term acute care or teaching hospital environment
