Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health (Psychiatric)

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a behavioral health unit in an acute care setting
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Manage patient milieu to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
• Administer and manage medications in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent behavioral health experience in a short-term acute care hospital (non-psychiatric facility)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No open background or license hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of specialty experience within a single location
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety practices
