Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in labor, preterm labor, triage, pre-op, post-op, and low-risk antepartum settings across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support GYN surgeries and couplet care
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialized equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac
• Administer high-alert medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate; perform or assist with cardioversion, defibrillation, and cooling/warming blanket procedures
• Support transition nursery care and float to Post-Partum or NICU based on skill set as needed
• Maintain a staffing ratio of 1:1–3 and collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
• Active and valid RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• First-time travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with high-risk OB patients and transition nursery care
• Ability and willingness to float to Post-Partum or NICU based on demonstrated skill set
