Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in labor, preterm labor, triage, and low-risk antepartum settings across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
- Perform and assist with circulating, scrubbing, pre-op, and post-op duties for OB-GYN and gynecological surgeries
- Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support couplet care and transition nursery as needed
- Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialized equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac
- Administer high-alert medications including heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
- Float to post-partum and NICU based on skill set; staffing ratio of 1:1–3
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
- Valid RN license; compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission
- Epic EMR experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
- Must be available to work 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience with cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, and drain management
- Experience floating to post-partum or NICU environments
