Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (3x12 Hours, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Level III NICU serving approximately 190 births per month at an acute care hospital
- Monitor and assess the condition of neonatal patients, implementing individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Adhere to unit scheduling requirements, including every-other-weekend rotation with potential for additional weekend shifts based on unit needs
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated major holidays as required by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in NICU specialty
- Current BLS (BCLS) certification required
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Current PALS certification required
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of initial submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
- Demonstrated flexibility to support unit staffing needs, including potential floating to sister facilities
