Travel RN – Labor and Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: August 31, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients throughout all stages of labor and delivery
• Care for newborns immediately following vaginal and cesarean section deliveries
• Circulate and recover patients undergoing cesarean sections
• Assist with and monitor procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
• Maintain accurate documentation using CPN and Meditach systems
• Participate in scheduled weekend shifts, call shifts, and adhere to unit floating policy (travelers float first)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification (Intermediate only — Advanced not accepted) or CEFM certification
• Ability to work three 12-hour night shifts per week, including 3 weekend shifts and 1 call shift per scheduling cycle
• Scrubs required in Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray (not provided)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with shared decision-making models in a patient-centered care environment
• Familiarity with CPN and Meditach documentation systems
• Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
