Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with standard nurse-to-patient ratios
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, including participation in rapid response situations
• Administer medications including insulin and perform telemetry monitoring as needed
• Float within scope to like units to meet facility staffing needs as required
• Participate in on-call availability for low census situations on a PRN basis
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Demonstrated skills in Med/Surg, telemetry, insulin administration, and rapid response
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
• ACLS and/or NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience with MS/Tele or combined Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
