Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound and sonography procedures within a hospital radiology department
- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Adhere to facility scheduling policies, including rotation of every other weekend and holidays alongside permanent staff
- Function as part of a float unit, providing coverage across applicable departments as needed
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols, including dress code and departmental standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
- Experience in a radiology department setting
- Ability to work a night shift schedule (7:00 PM – 5:30 AM, Sunday through Wednesday)
- Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
- Current and applicable ultrasound/sonography credentials as required by facility and state
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel assignment experience in a hospital or acute care environment
- Familiarity with float unit responsibilities and multi-department coverage
