Contract | Days | Full-Time | 5x8-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technologist support within an acute care facility's surgical services department across up to 8 operating rooms
• Scrub in on surgical cases and assist the surgical team throughout procedures
• Fulfill on-call requirements as needed per unit demands
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as directed
• Work weekends per the needs of the unit
• Be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical technologist experience required; 5 years preferred
• California state license preferred; pending CA license accepted
• Must be willing to take call and float as required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates considered at a lower rate)
• Must be willing to work at sister/affiliate facilities nearby if requested
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5 or more years of experience in a surgical technologist role within an acute care setting
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Prior travel assignment experience (first-time travelers will not be considered)
