Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM), 7 on / 7 off starting Wednesday nights; schedule may transition to days at an Emergency Center location as operational needs change

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced CT imaging procedures while supporting overall patient throughput and efficient department workflow
• Ensure all completed exams are accurately scanned and stored in PACS; serve as a PACS Superuser and follow downtime procedures as required
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance issues and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel with timely follow-up
• Adapt patient assessment and care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs of each patient
• Demonstrate flexibility by working varying shifts and at alternate campus locations as needed
• Maintain compliance with all applicable state, federal, and organizational policies, procedures, and standards of care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or approved equivalent
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT or NMTCB) required as primary modality certification
• ARRT or NMTCB certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required
• Texas state licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) issued by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Basic computer proficiency required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Familiarity with PACS image archiving systems and QA processes
