Registered Nurse – LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care)

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 6-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and applicable hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license or multi-state RN license (must be provided at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in LTAC within a hospital setting
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be provided at time of submission)
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience with telemetry monitoring in an LTAC or acute care environment
