Registered Nurse – LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care)

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 6-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and applicable hospital policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license or multi-state RN license (must be provided at time of submission)
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in LTAC within a hospital setting
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be provided at time of submission)
- Demonstrated experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience with telemetry monitoring in an LTAC or acute care environment
