Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery and Antenatal unit with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Circulate and recover patients following C-section procedures
- Float as needed to the Family Care (Mother/Baby) unit with an assignment, and serve as helping hands in the NICU or PICU when required
- Fulfill weekend requirements of three weekend shifts per 4-week schedule and one additional on-call shift per 4-week schedule
- Complete facility EMR orientation and testing during onboarding; orientation held every Monday
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery specialty experience
- Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification, or ability to pass an ECG fetal monitoring competency test
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an LDRP or Mother/Baby setting
- Strong ECG interpretation skills and immediate newborn care experience
