Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday through Friday with occasional weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to outpatient patients under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans in a hospital-based outpatient setting
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Oklahoma or eligibility to obtain
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional weekend availability

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a hospital-based or outpatient physical therapy setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
