Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiological imaging procedures following prescribed techniques, including adjusting equipment settings such as voltage, current, and exposure time
• Arrange immobilization and support devices, adjust lead shielding, and select appropriate imaging materials for each procedure
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
• Perform quality control tasks and maintain required quality control reports specific to procedures performed
• Prepare rooms, contrast materials, and equipment prior to procedures; perform diagnostic testing and general equipment maintenance
• Perform general office duties as needed, including scheduling, answering phones, and filing; fulfill on-call assignments as required

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a formal radiological technologist training program accredited by the AMA
• Active ARRT registration
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in Computerized Tomography (CT)
• CT certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Willingness to relocate to a rural area

Preferred Experience / Skills

• MRI certification or experience is preferred but not required
• Prior experience working in a regional or rural medical setting
