Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a comprehensive cancer center environment across specialized inpatient oncology units
• Float to Med Surg and PCU Oncology units including BMT, Acute Leukemia, Hematology, Medical Oncology, PCU Oncology, Gynecological Oncology, Urology, Colorectal, and Surgical Oncology
• Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention measures
• Manage patient assignments at staffing ratios of 1:3–1:4 on PCU and 1:4–1:5 on Med Surg Telemetry units
• Participate in an orientation program beginning with dayside training followed by bedside orientation shifts before independent practice

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of high-acuity Med Surg Telemetry level experience or higher
• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required at time of submission
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with BMT, hematology, or surgical oncology patient populations
