CT Scan Technologist – Pediatrics

Contract | Days | Monday–Wednesday 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, Thursday 7:00 AM–8:30 PM | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures independently in a high-acuity pediatric setting on a daily basis
• Operate Siemens CT equipment proficiently and without direct supervision
• Maintain a patient caseload ratio of 1.5:1 per technologist
• Chart and document patient information accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Float to other buildings within the facility as needed to meet operational demands
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as required during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT – RT(R)(CT)
• Active, in-hand state license at time of start (pending licenses not accepted)
• BLS certification
• Hands-on experience with Siemens CT equipment
• Level 1 Trauma experience
• Children's hospital or pediatric imaging experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience preferred
• Prior experience in a Magnet-designated or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
