Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Evening Shifts (12:00 PM – 12:00 AM) | Weekends and Holidays Required | No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a general patient population across all age ranges
• Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:4–5 in a 44-bed Emergency Department unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using electronic health record systems
• Adhere to unit protocols, dress code (navy scrubs), and scheduling requirements including weekends and holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license or Multistate (Compact) RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Must be flexible with scheduling to meet the staffing needs of the unit; no block schedule offered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system strongly preferred
• Familiarity with high-volume Emergency Department environments
