Contract | Days | Full-Time | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Onsite | No weekends, no on-call, no floating required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient radiation oncology clinic serving approximately 50 patients per day
- Start and manage intravenous (IV) lines for patients receiving treatment
- Deliver patient and family education related to oncology diagnoses and treatment plans
- Triage incoming patient calls and assess clinical needs appropriately
- Perform wound care assessments and treatments as indicated
Required Qualifications
- Active, permanent California RN license — must be in hand at time of submission; temporary or pending licenses are not accepted
- Minimum 3 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience
- Oncology nursing knowledge required
- Current BLS certification required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system required
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology nursing certification (OCN or equivalent) highly preferred
- Prior experience in an outpatient oncology or radiation oncology setting
