Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Thursday – Saturday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal studies
• Execute advanced imaging techniques including diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, and CINE
• Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment in accordance with department protocols
• Document patient information and imaging data accurately using EPIC
• Float between orthopedic and main hospital locations as required per unit needs
• Participate in Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignments; contract staff may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
• Prior travel or contract assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Active BLS certification required
• ARRT-MR certification required
• Recent hospital-based MRI experience required
• Must hold a valid NC or Compact state license (pending license acceptable for submission)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing chest MRI imaging
• Proficiency in image post-processing techniques
• Familiarity with neonatal, infant, and pediatric patient populations
