Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Thursday – Saturday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal studies
- Execute advanced imaging techniques including diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, and CINE
- Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment in accordance with department protocols
- Document patient information and imaging data accurately using EPIC
- Float between orthopedic and main hospital locations as required per unit needs
- Participate in Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignments; contract staff may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
- Prior travel or contract assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
- Active BLS certification required
- ARRT-MR certification required
- Recent hospital-based MRI experience required
- Must hold a valid NC or Compact state license (pending license acceptable for submission)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience performing chest MRI imaging
- Proficiency in image post-processing techniques
- Familiarity with neonatal, infant, and pediatric patient populations
