Contract | Travel | Days | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist with Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), complete heart cath, and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) procedures
- Support a range of advanced cardiac and peripheral procedures including CTO, EP, peripheral intervention, and implants
- Operate and assist with lab equipment including Philips/GE combination lab systems, Azurion Maclab, and Cardo platforms
- Document and manage patient data using Meditech Expanse EMR
- Function as an active team member in a 4-person procedure room team, maintaining patient safety and procedural efficiency
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule including weekend call coverage
Required Qualifications
- Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required
- Demonstrated scrub experience with LHC, complete heart catheterization, and PCI
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Ability to participate in on-call and rotating weekend call schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with advanced devices and procedures including Impella, IABP, Shockwave, Inari, Penumbra, ROTA, Right Heart catheterization, and temporary pacemaker placement
- Experience with peripheral vascular intervention procedures
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse or similar EMR platforms
