Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM | Projected Start: 08/31/2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical/Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
- Utilize Meditech electronic documentation system for accurate and timely charting
- Manage patients with various respiratory, renal, gastrointestinal, and telemetry-related conditions
- Perform and assist with procedures including CVC management, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips
- Participate in weekend shift rotation (4 shifts per 28-day schedule) and holiday rotation
- Engage in unit float rotation and maintain patient experience standards utilizing communication boards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with standard unit equipment including IV pumps, SCDs, and walkers
- Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and CVC care
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
- Prior travel nursing experience
