Contract | Nights | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | Every other weekend required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry/Step-Down unit serving adult and geriatric populations, including stroke, neuro-spine, post-cardiac catheterization, general surgery, wound care, diabetic, and medical patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Deliver specialized care to stroke and neurological patients, including post-procedure monitoring and assessment
• Manage post-cardiac catheterization patients in accordance with unit protocols
• Accurately document all patient care activities using Epic electronic health records
• Float between two facility locations within the same service line as needed, maintaining an average daily census of 16 with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–6

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Missouri license or compact license required (compact must match permanent residence)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• ACLS, BLS (BCLS), and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience caring for stroke patients in a Telemetry or Step-Down setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Step-Down unit experience
• Neuro/stroke specialty background
• Experience with post-cardiac catheterization patient care
• Comfort floating between multiple units or locations within a service line
