Cath Lab Tech – Cardiovascular Services (Contract)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM | On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, EP studies (a-fib), Watchman, TAVR, INARI, and device implantation (PPM, ICD, etc.)
- Operate and manage cath lab equipment across 3 operating rooms, 2 of which are EP compatible
- Work as part of a team alongside RNs and other CV techs, typically 2 RNs and 2 CV techs per case
- Participate in an on-call rotation distributed evenly among staff, including weekend emergent cases
- Document patient care and procedural data using Meditech EMR
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- Active ACLS certification required
- Active BLS certification required
- Ability and willingness to participate in on-call assignments
Preferred Experience / Skills
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred
- Experience with structural heart procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, or Impella support
- Cardiovascular nursing or allied health certification a plus
