Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within a Short Term Acute Care / Level IV Trauma Center setting
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
• Participate in standby on-call rotations as required by unit needs
• Float between units and, when necessary, to sister facilities based on staffing needs and individual skill sets
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR — Epic experience is a hard requirement
• Must have a personal vehicle available for use during the assignment
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submittal
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers are discouraged for this assignment
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to floating assignments across multiple units and care settings
