Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift – 12 Hours | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a cardiovascular med/surg unit in a telemetry setting
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Maintain full patient ratios when floating to other units within the facility as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality cardiovascular nursing care
- Adhere to holiday coverage requirements as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must pass facility EKG competency test prior to start
- Cardiovascular nursing experience required
- Ability to float to any unit within the facility and manage a full patient assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of RN experience, preferably in a cardiovascular or telemetry setting
- Prior experience in a cardiovascular med/surg environment
