Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift – 12 Hours | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a cardiovascular med/surg unit in a telemetry setting
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Maintain a full patient ratio when floating to other units within the facility as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality cardiovascular nursing care
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and clinical standards throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must pass facility EKG competency test prior to start
- Experience in cardiovascular nursing is required
- Ability and willingness to float to any unit in an RN capacity with a full patient assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of RN experience, preferably in a cardiovascular or telemetry setting
- Prior experience in a cardiovascular med/surg environment
