Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive postpartum and newborn care for a caseload of 3–4 mother-baby couplets per shift on a 10-bed Family Care / Maternity unit
• Perform and assist with unit procedures including circumcisions, staple removal, and newborn testing
• Operate and monitor unit equipment including infant warmers, bassinets, NICU-level pulse oximetry for CCHD screening, bili lights, and IV pumps
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems
• Deliver patient-centered, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population with lactation support resources available
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including transition RNs and fellow mother-baby RNs across day and night shifts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current, hands-on Mother Baby / Postpartum RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Proficiency with standard mother-baby and newborn care policies and procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with newborn transition care
• Familiarity with Meditech and/or CPN charting systems
• Flexible, positive, and patient-centered approach to care with strong interpersonal skills
