Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Manage a patient assignment of up to 1:5 ratio during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in on-call coverage as required, primarily limited to the first 4 hours when needed
• Float to like units or sister facilities within scope of practice to meet staffing needs as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or active Multi-State / Compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
