Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts per Week | 36–40 Guaranteed Hours
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-risk obstetrical bedside nursing care in an active Labor & Delivery unit
- Circulate in cesarean section procedures within the Labor & Delivery setting
- Recover high-acuity obstetrical patients following vaginal deliveries, c-sections, D&C procedures, and post-delivery care
- Monitor patients using GE fetal monitoring equipment and document care using Meditech and CPN systems
- Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 (Labor & Delivery) and 3:1 (OBED triage) as estimated by unit staffing guidelines
- Float to antepartum unit within the Women's service line as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience
- Experience with high-risk obstetrical bedside care, including circulating in c-sections and recovering high-acuity patients
- Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certificate
- Ability to work night shifts including rotating weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high-risk OB patient populations beyond minimum requirements
- Familiarity with Meditech and CPN documentation systems
- Experience with GE fetal monitoring equipment
