Travel RN – Postpartum / Mother Baby

McKinney, Texas
Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13-Week Travel Assignment) | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend required | No on-call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns on a 25-bed unit
- Care for GYN surgery patients as part of unit scope
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5–6 in collaboration with charge nursing staff
- Utilize Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems for documentation
- Work alongside day-shift team consisting of a charge nurse and 4–5 nurses
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Mother Baby / Postpartum experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong Mother Baby background with well-rounded postpartum clinical skills
- Warm, personable, and team-oriented bedside manner
