Travel RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) | 36–40 Hours per Week | Onsite | Call Rotation Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative nursing care in a multi-suite OR environment covering cardiovascular, general, orthopedic, neurosurgery, GYN, plastics, and robotic-assisted procedures
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout surgical cases
- Collaborate with OR technicians and fellow RNs to ensure safe and efficient surgical workflow
- Utilize Meditech for clinical documentation
- Participate in call rotation as scheduled
- Adhere to all unit-specific guidelines and surgical safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of cardiovascular OR experience
- Demonstrated basic OR intraoperative skills
- Experience with orthopedic, neurosurgery, and general surgical scrubbing
- Must reside or be relocating from 50+ miles from the facility (travel requirement)
- Ability to work 36–40 hours per week including call rotation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Relevant surgical nursing certification (e.g., CNOR)
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
