Registered Nurse – PICU (Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required, holiday rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct critical care nursing to pediatric patients in an intensive care setting with patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs across multiple pediatric units, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU
- Participate in emergency response team assignments as required, including during hurricane season (June through November)
- Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including pre-start modules and documentation deadlines
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact State RN License (SC license must be active prior to start date)
- Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Current PALS certification (American Heart Association only)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation)
- Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
