Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time (40 hours per week, 36 hours guaranteed)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient functional goals and daily living activities
• Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Assist in evaluating patient response to treatment and communicate findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist

Required Qualifications

• Active COTA licensure or eligibility to practice in the state of Montana
• Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Ability to commit to a 13-week contract assignment
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
• Familiarity with PACS (Point of Care) documentation systems
