Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Triage obstetric patients and manage the full continuum of care including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
• Provide newborn care and monitoring in an LDRP setting
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic electronic health records
• Adhere to variable patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:6 based on census and acuity
• Participate in weekend coverage on an equally distributed basis among staff
• Float between sister facilities as needed per assignment requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of LDRP or Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience required; seasoned travelers strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Ability to commit to holiday coverage requirements, including at least one winter holiday pair (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a critical access hospital or small rural facility setting
• Comfort managing a broad scope of OB nursing duties independently across triage, labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care
