Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting within a short-term acute care facility
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
- Float between units as needed to support staffing and patient care demands
- Adhere to facility dress code and departmental policies throughout the assignment
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
- At least one prior travel nursing contract (seasoned traveler required)
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify under standard travel guidelines
- Must submit all requested time-off and scheduling needs prior to or at time of submission
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment
- Demonstrated flexibility with floating between units or sister facilities
- Strong familiarity with telemetry monitoring and acute care protocols
