Key Responsibilities

• Execute diagnostic MRI imaging with limited supervision, producing quality images for radiologist review.
• Screen patients and review screening forms to ensure patient safety prior to MRI procedures; obtain patient history and assess medication needs.
• Prepare and monitor patients throughout the exam, including clothing changes, reassurance, medication administration, and procedure explanation.
• Administer contrast media under physician direction and in accordance with department policy.
• Perform daily equipment quality assurance and quality control, restock supplies and linens, and report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
• Accurately complete all records, charting, and study documentation using EPIC and Enterprise Imaging (EI) systems.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiology Program.
• ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) Certification.
• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) MR License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds or more with assistance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain concentration and manage multiple tasks over extended periods.
