Registered Nurse – Oncology (BMT/Hematology Oncology)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a mixed-acuity Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit serving patients with hematologic malignancies and related diagnoses including leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, and amyloidosis
- Support and monitor patients undergoing autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic stem cell transplants, as well as CAR-T therapy
- Perform telemetry monitoring, interpret dysrhythmias, and utilize Rapid Response Teams as appropriate
- Administer blood products and manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral lines, including central line blood draws
- Provide feeding tube care and management, and administer supplemental oxygen via nasal cannula
- Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license (compact or state-specific) required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical and Oncology nursing experience
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Demonstrated skills in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, blood product administration, and vascular access management
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Hematology Oncology (Heme Onc) nursing experience strongly preferred
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification
