Cath Lab Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location
Kansas City, KS
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 10-Hour Shifts, 4 Days per Week (0700–1700) | Onsite | Weekend and Holiday availability required | On-call rotation with other technologists
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional and diagnostic left heart catheterizations
- Assist with right heart catheterizations with and without biopsy
- Support structural heart cases including TAVR, MitraClip, PFO closure, ASD repair, and Watchman procedures
- Participate in vascular cases such as peripheral run-offs, EVARs, and TEVARs
- Provide technical support for adult coronary procedures in the cardiac cath lab setting
- Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT (R), RCVT, or RCIS certification required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Prior Cath Lab experience required; new graduates will not be considered
- Experience with interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures
- Experience with structural heart and vascular cases as listed above
- Adult coronary experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Broad exposure to a high-volume, complex cardiac cath lab environment
- Familiarity with a wide range of structural and vascular interventional procedures
