Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting during overnight shifts
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation, achieving acceptable scores on both
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday as required
• Complete required annual hands-on competency training and pre-start modules as assigned
• Adhere to all facility compliance standards, including background check requirements and licensing regulations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Emergency Room nursing; travel experience may be considered
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid compact state license required at time of submission — no exceptions
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts)
• No open licensing actions or open background check cases will be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Active TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• 18 months of Emergency Room experience within a single facility location
