Surgical Technologist – Surgical Services

Contract | Evening Shift (5x8 Hours, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams in the operating room during a variety of surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and surgical supplies
• Pass instruments and anticipate the needs of the surgical team throughout procedures
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and disposition of surgical specimens
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in surgical services specialty
• Active and unrestricted Ohio state license or valid compact license required at time of submission
• All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the surgical specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must have no open licensing actions or background hits of disqualifying nature

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or location preferred
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety practices
• Prior travel contract experience in a surgical services setting
