Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts with Weekend Rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an Acute Care / Med-Surg setting
- Apply specialized knowledge related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
- Care for patients across a range of conditions including post-operative orthopedic surgery, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute and chronic illnesses
- Participate in call rotation, taking one call shift per two-week period as needed based on staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado
- Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar RN experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with orthopedic post-surgical patient populations
- Familiarity with observation (OBS) unit workflows and telemetry monitoring
