Respiratory Therapist – NICU/PICU (Neuro/Respiratory Diagnostics)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required, including Sundays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in NICU and PICU settings across night shift hours
• Deliver patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards
• Float within the hospital as needed, potentially to an additional campus location
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling, including Sundays, with possible additional weekend shifts
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy, specifically within NICU or PICU
• Valid Ohio Single State or Multi-State Respiratory Therapy license (required at time of submission)
• Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (required at time of submission)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required
• No previous license violations or hits on background check

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Prior travel therapy experience in a pediatric acute care environment
