Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in the Intensive Care Unit setting
- Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
- Support and educate families of NICU patients regarding care, procedures, and progress
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience
- Current BLS certification (additional certifications such as NRP may be required)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Compliance with all facility health, background, and credentialing requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level II or Level III NICU environment
- Prior travel nursing experience with the ability to adapt quickly to new facilities and workflows
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
