Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5x8s) | On-call rotation required | Every third weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general interventional radiology procedures as part of a daily caseload in a tertiary hospital setting
- Participate in an on-call rotation shared among technologists to ensure continuous coverage
- Fulfill every third weekend shift as part of the standard rotation schedule
- Document and chart patient information accurately using Epic EMR
- Adhere to all radiation safety protocols, including maintaining a personal radiation monitoring badge
- Support emergency response team assignments as required during hurricane season (June–November)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
- General IR case experience required
- Active ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- SCQRSA certification required
- Personal radiation monitoring badge must be provided — candidate is responsible for supplying their own badge
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neuro IR case experience preferred
- Prior experience working in a tertiary hospital environment
