Float Med-Surg / Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Kapaau, Hawaii
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Shifts | Days and/or Nights including Weekends and Holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Float between Med-Surg and Emergency Department units based on facility needs
- Deliver direct patient care in a Critical Access Hospital setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population
- Document patient information and care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in both Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department nursing
- Strong proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
- Ability to work day and/or night shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a Critical Access Hospital environment
- Demonstrated ability to float and adapt quickly across multiple units
