Contract | Nights | Onsite | Three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 hours per week guaranteed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during overnight hours
- Serve in a Charge Nurse capacity, overseeing unit operations and supporting nursing staff during the night shift
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Proof of negative TB screen within 12 months of contract start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Emergency Room Charge Nurse role
- Familiarity with high-acuity and trauma patient populations
