Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU/IMC/Stepdown setting with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and coordinate rapid response as needed
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips, manage heparin protocols, PCA, and procedural sedation
• Perform IV therapy, central line and PICC line management, blood product administration, and phlebotomy
• Manage respiratory support modalities including CPAP/BiPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy care, and chest tubes
• Float between departments, units, and facilities as needed, including Emergency Department inpatient holding areas

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – must hold both Kansas and Missouri licensure or a compact license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, IMC, Stepdown, or comparable setting
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, neurological assessment (CVA), and pre/post cardiac and surgical patient care
• Experience with isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, and renal/hemodialysis patient management
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; no local travelers accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Charge RN experience
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
