Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center setting
• Deliver nursing care across all phases of perioperative care, including pre-op, post-op, and PACU
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3 in accordance with unit standards
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe patient transitions through all phases of care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Demonstrated experience in all phases of perioperative care: pre-op, post-op, and PACU
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel compliance guidelines
• Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PACU or perioperative setting
• Familiarity with Level III Trauma Center environments
• Experience in a short-term acute care hospital setting
